The US Dollar increased against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 40.70 levels.
The USD/TRY currency pair continued its long term upward climb as Turkey awaited this morning’s important retail data. In Turkey, Year on Year Retail Sales data for June (17.7% last month) will be posted (08:00 GMT+1). In the US, CPI Inflation data for July (2.8% exp) will be revealed (13:30 GMT+1).
