During Asian trading, the British pound edged lower against the US Dollar trading below 1.34000 levels.
The GBP/USD fell slightly after the Bank of England held rates at 4% yesterday but the vote was split with almost half of the voting committee wanting an interest rate cut. In the UK, the Mortgage Rate for October (6.78% last month) will be posted (10:00 GMT). In the US, Michigan Consumer Sentiment for November (50.3 exp) will be released (15:00 GMT).*
