During Asian trading, the British pound increased against the US Dollar trading above 1.36000 levels.
The GBP/USD was slightly higher in the Asian session chiefly due to a weaker greenback, as the UK Prime Minister Starmer remained under pressure to resign following the fallout from the Epstein scandal.
