The US Dollar declined against the Japanese Yen in Asian trading below 153.10 levels.
The USD/JPY dropped to an almost two week low as the yen continues to gather strength amid belief that Prime Minister Takaichi’s policies will boost the economy and BoJ rates might continue to rise. In Japan, Year on year PPI data for January (2.3% exp) will be posted (23:50 GMT). In the US, Nonfarm Payrolls data for January (66k expected) and the Unemployment Rate (4.4% exp) will be released (13:30 GMT).
