The GER30 rose to a fresh all- time high on Thursday (13985). The GER30 was up all day Wednesday and finished even stronger. The German benchmark climbed nearly 2% on Wednesday. Winners outnumbered losers by about 3 to 1. The biggest winners were Deutsche Bank, Allianz, and Bayer. The biggest losers were Vonovia, Deutsche Wohnen, and Delivery Hero. The German Composite and Services PMI’s for December came in at 52.0 and 47.0 respectively. Their consensus forecasts were slightly higher at 52.5 for the Composite and 47.7 for Services.
