Wall Street ended sharply lower on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged and projected only ​a single rate cut for 2026 as officials considered economic risks from rising oil prices and the US ‌war with Iran.
On Wednesday the S&P 500 dropped 1.36%, the Dow Jones fell 1.63% and the Nasdaq slipped 1.46%.
