In Asian trading, the US Dollar climbed against the Canadian Dollar, trading above 1.3700 levels.
The USD/CAD rose for the second day after both the Fed and the Bank of Canada cut interest rates by 25 basis points yesterday, with the BoC warning that the employment market has weakened further. In Canada, there are no data releases scheduled today. In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data and Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index data for September (1.7 expected) will be released (13:30 GMT +1).
