The US Dollar is up against the Japanese Yen in Asian trading above 153.60 levels.
The USD/JPY currency pair rose to record a one week high in the Asian session as traders worry about the potential impact trade tariffs will have upon the Japanese economy. In Japan, PPI data for January (4.0% exp) will be released (23:50 GMT). In the US, CPI Inflation figures for January (2.9% expected) will be posted (13:30 GMT) and Fed Chair Powell will continue to give testimony to Congress (15:00 GMT).
