The USD/JPY was flat after hitting its highest level for three months early in the session as domestic uncertainty amid impending US tariffs continues to pressure the yen. close to yesterday’s fresh three week high in the Asian session as concerns continued about US tariffs upon Japan which may prevent the Bank of Japan from raising interest rates as quickly as it originally intended. In Japan, there are no major data releases scheduled today. In the US, PPI Inflation data for June (0.3% exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1).
