The US Dollar increased against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 40.20 levels.
The USD/TRY currency pair inched higher in the Asian session after the currency pair hit a fresh three month high yesterday, with no sign to an end of Turkey’s high inflation and its negative impact on the wider economy. In Turkey, there are no scheduled data releases, due to a national holiday. In the US, PPI Inflation data for June (0.3% exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1).
