The US Dollar fell against the Japanese Yen in Asian trading below 152.7 levels.
The USD/JPY declined in the Asian session after hitting a fresh eight month high yesterday, as the dollar softened against most of its rivals as the government shutdown ground on. In Japan, PPI for September came in at vs 2.7% vs 2.5% exp. In the US Fed Member Daly spoke (02:40 GMT+1) and Michigan 1 year inflation Expectations for October (4.7% exp last month) will be released (15:00 GMT+1).*
*Most US Government data will not be published (or will be delayed) because of a government shutdown. Non government US data will be released as normal.
