The US Dollar was sharply higher against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session, above 36.50 levels.
The USD/TRY increased in the Asian session, coming close to last Friday’s record high as the Lira lost ground as concerns over the Turkish economy continue. In Turkey, there are no data releases today. In the US, YoY Core PCE Price Index data for January (2.6% exp) will be released (13:30 GMT).
