The US Dollar jumped against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 41.10 levels.
The USD/TRY currency pair rose to a record high during the Asian session as geopolitical strains with the US and EU brought further pressure upon the already inflation plagued Lira. In Turkey, there are no data releases today. In the US, Core PCE Price Index figures for July (2.9% exp) and Chicago PMI for August (46.6 exp) will be posted (14:45 GMT+1).
