The US Dollar increased against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session above 44.20 levels.
The USD/TRY currency pair posted a fresh record high in the Asian session as traders fretted about ongoing elevated inflation and the Middle East war, pressuring the Lira. In Turkey, CBRT Meeting Minutes for January’s meeting will be published (11:00 GMT). In the US, the Fed will meet to decide on interest rates (3.75% expected - unchanged) at 18:00 GMT.
