MARKET REACTION TO ISRAEL- HAMAS WAR SINCE OCTOBER 7, 2023

SAFE- HAVEN GOLD AND SILVER RISE: Only in 2024, since tensions started to increase, Gold has risen around 18% or $370. Gold hit a fresh all-time high of $2431.30 on April 12, while Silver tested its highest price since January 2021 ($29.772) on the very same day. However, the price could decline.
CRUDE OIL RISES: Only in 2024, since tensions started to increase, the Crude Oil prices have risen around 23% or $16. Oil prices have also risen in volatility as the region is rich in oil and one of the most important oil transit checkpoints in the world. Iran itself produces something between 3 and 4 million barrels a day, and exports around 1.5 million barrels a day. On April 12, Crude oil hit its highest price since October 2023 ($87.61). However, the price could also decline.
