TESLA: THE COMPANY
- MAIN BUSINESS: Tesla produces several Electric Vehicles (EVs), including the Model 3, Model X, Model Y, Model S, and, since recently, the Cybertruck. Tesla also delivers the Semi-Truck. On October 7, 2025, Tesla introduced cheaper and affordable Model Y and Model 3 models, that will start delivering in Q4 2025.
- STOCK INDEX PARTICIPATION: Tesla stock is part of both the NASDAQ 100 (USA100) index and the S&P 500 (USA500) index.
- MARKET SHARE: Tesla is still the largest seller of pure battery-powered Electric Vehicles (EVs) in the world and an absolute leader in the US (taking up around 40% market share).
TESLA: EVENTS
- EVENT (CONFIRMED: OCTOBER 22, AFTERMARKET): Q3 EARNINGS REPORT. Tesla is expected to print $26.26 billion in revenue (new record high) and $1.9 billion in net income (its highest since Q3 2024). This would mark an increase of 16.70% in revenue quarter over quarter and an 100% increase in net income quarter over quarter.
- STATISTICS (2020 – 2025): TESLA STOCK PRICE ROSE ON AVERAGE 4.25% BETWEEN QUARTERLY CAR DELIVERY DATE AND QUARTERLY EARNINGS DATE. Last time, Tesla reported Q2 car delivery data on July 2, 2025, and printed its Q2 Earnings Report on July 23, 2025. The stock price rose 9.48% between that period (July 2 – July 23, 2025).
- BREAKING (OCTOBER 2, PREMARKET): Q3 CAR DELIVERY DATA BEST IN TESLA’S HISTORY. (497,099 VS. 439,612 expected). This was the best-ever quarter for Tesla. The previous best was Q4 2024 (495,570). Q3 car delivery reached a number of 497,099 units. This would be up 29.4% from Q2 (384,122) and 7.4% up from the same period last year (462,890).
TESLA: OTHER EVENTS
- EVENT (NOVEMBER 6): TESLA’S SHAREHOLDER MEETING AND VOTE ON CEO ELON MUSK PAY. Elon Musk could receive 423.7 million additional shares of Tesla stock to reach 25% ownership of Tesla. However, in order to receive the full compensation, the company’s market capitalization would need to reach an overall value of $8.5 trillion in the next decade, significantly above the current market cap. According to Reuters, On November 6 meeting, the company will be also asking shareholders to approve 3 major plans that could launch Tesla’s next era of growth. It could fundamentally determine Tesla’s heading for the foreseeable future and therefore strongly influence its stock price.

- BREAKING (SEPTEMBER 15): CEO ELON MUSK ANNOUNCED PURCHASES OF 2.57 MILLION SHARES OF TESLA WORTH 1 BILLION DOLLARS. Positive sentiment with Tesla stock price could be anticipated as CEO Musk, by purchasing more Tesla shares, expresses confidence in Tesla's future, cheering up investors. Although prices could go in the other direction as well.
TESLA: ROBOTAXI BUSINESS EXPANDS BEYOND AUSTIN, TEXAS (USA)
- ARIZONA: TESLA ROBOTAXI RECEIVED ARIZONA TEST PERMIT (SEPTEMBER 20).
- NEVADA: ROBOTAXI SERVICES RECEIVED PERMIT FOR TESTING IN NEVADA (SEPTEMBER 12).
- SAN FRANCISCO: ROBOTAXI SERVICES EXPAND IN SAN FRANCISCO (EARLY AUGUST 2025).
- AUSTIN: TESLA ROBOTAXI SERVICES IN AUSTIN (TEXAS) LAUNCHED (LATE JUNE 2025). Tesla launched its robotaxi service in Austin, Texas, on June 22, using a limited number of Model Y vehicles.
- THE PLAN: TESLA PROJECTS MORE THAN 1,000 CARS IN MONTHS. Tesla's autonomous robotaxi project started off with 10 cars in the first week of June, with a gradual scaling to 20, 30, and 40, aiming to reach 1,000 within months.
ROBOTAXI SERVICES TO EXPAND: According to CEO Elon Musk, Tesla began discussions with Nevada officials to establish autonomous vehicle operations in the state as part of its plan to expand its robotaxi service. Tesla is seeking permissions to launch autonomous ride-hailing in Nevada, Arizona, Florida, and a number of other places, targeting a rapid scale-up at a hyper-exponential rate.
GLOBAL ROBOTAXI MARKET: EXPECTED GROWTH OF 80.8% PER YEAR ON AVERAGE UNTIL 2031. The global robotaxi market could experience growth from a $1.71 billion market in 2022 to $118.61 billion by 2031, with an impressive 80.8% CAGR, according to Fortune Business Insights.
TESLA: PRICE ACTION
- TESLA STOCK PRICE HIT AN ALL-TIME HIGH IN LATE 2024: $487.99. The current stock price is around $435, and if the price moves to its recent all-time high levels, this would be a price change of around 12%. However, the price could decline as well.
- ANALYSTS’ OPINION: WEDBUSH DAN IVES forecasts $600; Baird forecasts $548; Piper Sandler forecasts $500.
