- COMPONENTS: USA100 includes 100 companies including Apple, Google, Nvidia, Meta, and Microsoft.
ANALYSIS:
- THE NASDAQ, THE MARKET IS NOW UP MORE THAN 71% FROM ITS OCTOBER 2022 LOWS: The Nasdaq has sharply rallied from October 2022 lows, as the tech sector continues to remain the best performing sector in the United States. The Nasdaq rally has outpaced both the S&P500 and the Dow Jones Industrial index since October 2022.
ANALYSIS OF MOST RECENT USA100 PRICE CORRECTIONS:
- JULY- AUGUST 2024: The USA100 has lost 17.31% over that period testing its lowest since April 2024 (17351). Since it tested the mark of 17351, the USA100 has managed to recover by around 3.5%.
- MARCH - APRIL 2024: The USA100 lost 8.52% over that period testing its lowest since January 2024 (17113.75). Since it tested the mark of 17113.75, the USA100 has managed to recover by around 5.0%.
- JULY - OCTOBER 2023: The USA100 lost 11.96% over that period testing its lowest since May 2023 (14140.13). Since it tested the mark of 14140.13, the USA100 has managed to recover by around 27%.

- WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14 AT 13:30 GMT+1: US INFLATION (CPI) (JYLY). The US inflation continued falling, marking a decline from 3.5% to the current 3.0% since April. If inflation continues falling, this could encourage the US Fed to start cutting its benchmark interest soon, which in return could put the US dollar under negative pressure. In this case, the US Stocks could come under upward pressure.
