- USA500 represents the S&P 500, which includes 500 of the largest publicly traded companies in the United States across all major sectors. It features industry leaders such as Tesla, Apple, Google, Nvidia, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs.
COMPANY EVENTS:
- FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 (EXPECTED): SPACEX STARSHIP ROCKET FLIGHT 14 TEST. SpaceX is planning a highly anticipated rocket flight, marking the vehicle’s first fully orbital mission and aiming to deploy high-capacity Starlink V3 satellites.
- TUESDAY–WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22–23: NVIDIA AI DAY SINGAPORE. NVIDIA will hold its AI Day in Singapore, focusing on artificial intelligence infrastructure, open models, agentic artificial intelligence, physical artificial intelligence, robotics and AI development tools
- WEDNESDAY–THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 23–24: META (FACEBOOK) CONNECT 2026. Meta will hold its annual Connect event on September 23–24, focusing on artificial intelligence, AI glasses and wearables, virtual and mixed reality, Meta Horizon, and new AI technologies.
- WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30 (AFTERMARKET): MICRON Q2 EARNINGS REPORT. According to Bloomberg, Micron is expected to print $50.99 billion in revenue (new record high), up about 350% from $11.31 billion in the same period last year. Micron is expected to report net income of $35.9 billion (new record high), an increase of roughly 1,000% from $3.26 billion last year.
EVENTS:
- WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 16 AT 19:00 GMT+1: U.S. FEDERAL RESERVE (FED) INTEREST RATE DECISION. The
Fed kept interest rates unchanged at 3.75% at its latest meeting in July. This decision remains highly important as the Fed’s next moves will be a key driver of investor sentiment and the USA500’s direction.
U.S. GOVERNMENT:
- BREAKING (SEPTEMBER 10): U.S. TREASURY BEGAN STIMULUS-LIKE LONG-TERM BOND REPURCHASE PROGRAMME. The programme began implementation on September 9, 2026. The U.S. Treasury is using its nearly $1 trillion General Account (TGA) to help fund its announced plans to increase purchases of government bonds. The move could increase market liquidity, potentially supporting USA500 prices.
TECHNICAL ANALYSIS:
- SUPPORT AREA: 7,550-7,450. After rising to an all-time high of 7,838, the USA500 price has reestablished support around the 7,550–7,450 area, which could continue to act as a technical support zone. However, there remains a risk of a potential break below this range if market conditions change.
