The Australian Dollar was lower against the US Dollar during European trading above 0.6800 levels.

The Aussie pair remained on the downside in the European session, continuing this week’s decline, amid dollar strength against a basket of other currencies. In Australia, Trade Balance data for August this morning recorded 50.5. In Australia, Home Loans data for August was under expectations at 0.7%. In the United States, Nonfarm Payrolls data (148k expected) and Unemployment Rate (4.2% exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
