The Australian Dollar increased against the US Dollar during European trading above 0.6500 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair traded higher as still lingering trade uncertainties and a lower than expected US inflation is creating negative pressures on the US dollar. In Australia MI Inflation Expectations for June came out with data being higher for this month than the previous month (5.0% this month vs 4.1% previous month). In the US, Year on Year PPI Inflation data for May (2.6% exp) and Initial Jobless Claims data (241k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT+1).
