The AUD/USD currency pair has advanced ahead of inflation data coming out of the US today. In Australia, there are no data releases scheduled today. In the US, Core PCE Price Index figures for July (2.9% exp) and Chicago PMI for August (46.6 exp) will be posted (14:45 GMT+1).
