The Australian Dollar rose up against the US Dollar during European trading above 0.6500 levels.
The AUD/USD traded higher in the European session, as the US dollar is under pressure and as investors see lower odds of an interest rate cut by the Reserve Bank of Australia in December. In Australia, Unemployment Rate data for October was lower than expected (4.3% realised vs 4.4% expected). In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (218k last week) will be released (13:30 GMT).*
