In European trading, the US Dollar pushed lower against the Canadian Dollar, trading below 1.400 levels.
The USD/CAD currency pair was on the retreat in the European session as negative pressure for the US dollar was created as new large fiscal expenditures are potentially planned through new US stimulus checks. In Canada, there are no major data releases scheduled today. In the US, Initial Jobless Claims data (218k last week) will be released (13:30 GMT).*
