US Session Analysis for CFD Instruments 27/05/2022
Fundamental analysis
27 May, 2022
During most of European trade, the euro weakened against the dollar. The second reading of the US GDP yesterday showed a gloomier picture of the state of the US economy in the first quarter. In addition, the day before yesterday's notes from the last meeting of the Fed showed a slightly milder hawkish tone, which was reflected in a milder withdrawal of the US currency. Some members of the European Central Bank's board expressed dissatisfaction with the timeframe for raising interest rates set by ECB President Christine Lagarde the other day. That affected the withdrawal of the euro. On the other hand, an embargo on Russian oil imports could be imposed by the end of this month. At around 13:45, the euro was exchanged for 1.0715 dollars, which is a weakening of the common European currency by 0.15% since the beginning of trading last night.
