During European trading, the British Pound fell against the US Dollar, trading below 1.3400 levels.
The GBP/USD retreated in the European session as the US dollar is rising on safe - haven demand. In the UK, Halifax House Price Index data for September came out with data being lower than expected (1.3% realised vs 2.2% expected). In the US Trade Balance data for August (-61.20 bln expected) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1).*
