During European trading, the British Pound retreated against the US Dollar, trading below 1.3200 levels.
The GBP/USD traded downward in the European session, as investors are awaiting a reduced number of data coming out of the US this week which could prove instrumental for the FED’s interest rate decision in December. In the UK, Global Manufacturing PMI for October was released with data being higher than expected (49.7 realised vs 49.6 expected). In the US S&P Global Manufacturing PMI data for October (52.2 exp) will be released (14:45 GMT) and ISM Manufacturing PMI for October (49.1 last month) will be posted (15:00 GMT).*
