The US Dollar advanced against the Japanese Yen in the European session, trading above 154.00 levels.
The USD/JPY traded higher in the European Session, as uncertainty about the FED’s interest rate cuts is creating positive pressure for the US dollar. In Japan, it's a national holiday and no data will be posted. In the US S&P Global Manufacturing PMI data for October (52.2 exp) will be released (14:45 GMT) and ISM Manufacturing PMI for October (49.1 last month) will be posted (15:00 GMT).*
