The Australian Dollar traded lower against the US Dollar during Asian trading below 0.6700 levels.
The AUD/USD currency pair lost some ground following two days of gains with the Aussie being somewhat boosted by a US China agreement on placing TikTok under US ownership. The two countries are major Australian trading partners. In Australia RBA Assistant Governor Jones will speak (02:30 GMT+1). In the US, the Fed Interest Rate decision (cut of 0.5% to 4.25% expected) will be released (19:00 GMT +1), followed by a press conference (19:30 GMT+1).
