The US Dollar edged lower against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session below 41.30 levels.
The USD/TRY currency was slightly lower in the Asian session as the Lira stabilised following a court decision to postpone an important ruling on the leadership of the main opposition Republican People’s Party. In Turkey, Budget Balance for August data (-23.90 bln last month) will be released (09:00 GMT+1). In the US, the Fed Interest Rate decision (cut of 0.5% to 4.25% expected) will be released (19:00 GMT +1), followed by a press conference (19:30 GMT+1).
