The Eurodollar currency pair inched upwards on Monday,moving to around 1.1809 levels during the Asian session this morning. The Euro slipped slightly lower on Friday in choppy trading. Eurozone CPI for June rose 1.9%, Year-over-Year. In the United States, Retail Sales for June printed at 0.6%, Month-over-Month, and Core Retail Sales for June came in at 1.3%, Month-over-Month. The consensus forecasts were -0.4% and 0.4% respectively. The Michigan Consumer Sentiment for July was reported to be 80.8, well below the analysts’ estimate of 86.5.
