EU Session Analysis for CFD Instruments 30/07/2021

Fundamental analysis

The Eurodollar currency pair fell slightly on Friday, moving to around 1.1879 levels during the Asian session this morning. The Dollar fell on Thursday after below expectations economic data from the US. US GDP and Initial Jobless claims both disappointed with the latter coming in at 400k vs 380k exp and the Eurodollar responded by increasing. German unemployment figures for July yesterday came in better than expected. The ECB published its monetary meeting minutes yesterday, which didn’t impact the markets much. German Q2 GDP data will be released at 09:00 while Eurozone CPI for July will be revealed at 10:00 GMT+1.
