In Asian trading, the euro was higher against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.0300 mark.
The EUR/USD currency pair was slightly higher this morning, after President Trump moved to raise tariffs to 25% on steel and aluminium imports and said he would announce plans to impose reciprocal tariffs on other countries. In Europe ECB member Schnabel will speak (17:00 GMT). In the US, Fed Chair Powell will testify before Congress today (15:00 GMT).
