EU Session Analysis for CFD Instruments 18/02/2025

In Asian trading, the euro declined against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.0460 mark.

The EUR/USD currency pair fell during the Asian session, after recent comments from ECB officials suggested that there may be up to three more interest rate cuts this year. In Europe, German ZEW Economic Sentiment for February (19.9 expected) will be posted (10:00 GMT). In the US, Fed Members Daly and Barr will speak (15:20 and 18.00 GMT respectively). President Trump is also expected to speak this evening.
