During Asian trading, the British pound fell against the US Dollar trading below 1.2600 levels.
The GBP/USD currency dropped in the Asian session ahead of important employment data in the UK and as the dollar moved higher against most of its rivals. In the UK, Claimant Count Change data for January (10k exp) will be posted (07:00 GMT) and Bank of England Governor Bailey will speak (09:30 GMT). In the US, Fed Members Daly and Barr will speak (15:20 and 18.00 GMT respectively). President Trump is also expected to speak this evening.
