The US Dollar increased against the Japanese Yen in Asian trading above 151.90 levels.
The USD/JPY currency pair climbed in the Asian session as the yen lost some appeal as a safe haven on further moves towards negotiations in the direction of a resolution to the war in Ukraine. In Japan, Trade Balance data for January (-2.104 bln exp) will be released (23:50 GMT). In the US, Fed Members Daly and Barr will speak (15:20 and 18.00 GMT respectively). President Trump is also expected to speak this evening.
