In Asian trading, the Euro edged higher against the US Dollar, trading above the 1.1300 mark.
The EUR/USD remained around two week peaks, continuing its gains into a fourth day with the dollar under pressure due to weakened sentiment following Moody’s recent downgrade of the US credit rating. In Europe, German Manufacturing PMI for May (48.8 expected) will be released (09:00 GMT+1). In the US, Initial Jobless Claims (230k exp) will be posted (13:30 GMT+1), Manufacturing PMI for May (49.9 exp) and Services PMI for May (51.0 exp) will be released (14:45 GMT+1).
