In Asian trading, the Euro fell against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.1700 mark.
The EUR/USD traded below its opening price in the Asian session after reports suggested US and Chinese negotiators have made progress towards a trade deal ahead of this week’s Trump Xi meeting. In the Eurozone, German Business Expectations for October (89.7 expected) will be released (09:00 GMT). In the US Durable Goods Orders data for September (-2.7% last month) will be posted (12:30 GMT).*
*Most US Government data will not be published (or will be delayed) because of a government shutdown. Non government US data will be released as normal.
