The British Pound USD currency pair inched higher, trading at 1.3674 during the Asian session. The Pound was declining on Thursday until it went vertical after the Bank of England announced it was leaving interest rates unchanged at 0.10% and taking negative rates off of the table for now. In the United States, there were 779,000 new jobless claims filed for the past week. The consensus forecast was for 830,000 claims. Factory Orders for December beat expectations rising 1.1% versus the 0.7 % that had been expected.
