The British Pound USD currency pair moved firmly higher to 1.4032 during the Asian session. The Pound rallied on Friday against the US Dollar. The UK’s economic calendar was empty. The United States posted disappointing job data for April. Only 266,000 new jobs were created instead of the 978,000 that analysts had predicted. The U.S. Unemployment Rate for April climbed to 6.1%. The consensus forecast was a drop to 5.8%.
