During Asian trading, the British pound climbed slightly against the US Dollar trading below 1.2600 levels.

The pair rose during the Asian session in a subdued manner with the dollar easing after Friday’s PCE Price Index data came in lower than expected. In the UK, Q3 GDP figures (1.0% exp) will be posted (07:00 GMT). In the US, CB Consumer Confidence for December (113% exp) will be released (15:00 GMT).
