The USD/CAD pair fell this morning to trade at 1.2612 The pair rallied on Tuesday. Canada’s Housing Starts for July printed at 272,200. The consensus forecast was 275,000. Retail Sales for July in the United States fell well short of their forecasts. July’s Retail Sales fell 1.1%, Month-over-Month, much worse than the -0.3% predicted. Industrial Production in the United States came in high, increasing 0.9%, Month-over-Month in July, higher than the analysts’ estimate of 0.5%.
