The USD/TRY increased during the Asian session to trade at 8.8643. The pair inched lower on relatively calm trade for the Turkish lira. Turkey’s Manufacturing PMI for September came in at 52.50. Its Exports for September rose to 20.80 billion Turkish lira. In the United States, the ISM Manufacturing PMI for September beat its forecast, coming in at 61.1. Personal Spending in the U.S. for August printed up 0.8%, Month-over-Month. The consensus forecast was 0.6%. The Core PCE Index for August climbed 0.3%, Month-over-Month. Analysts had only predicted 0.2%.
