The US Dollar increased against the Turkish Lira during the Asian session, above 35.340 levels.
The USD/TRY has been trading in a band for the last couple of days, however the prospect of a further weakening lira still hangs in the air as high inflation and monetary instability still grip the country. In Turkey, there are no data releases today. In the US, ADP Nonfarm Employment for December (136k exp) and Initial Jobless Claims (214k exp) will be released (13:30 GMT).
