According to City Magazine, Tesla plans to release more affordable Electric Vehicles (EVs) in the first half of 2025 while making major strides in its self-driving tech. The new affordable Tesla will be an SUV and will cost around 30 thousand dollars.
- ROBOTAXI: TESLA IS EXPECTED TO LAUNCH ROBOTAXI IN THE USA IN JUNE OF 2025. During the Q1 2025 earnings call, Elon Musk reassured investors that Tesla is still on track to roll out “autonomous ride-hailing for money” by June in Austin, Texas. Around 300 test operators are conducting tests in self-driving cars in Austin before the official launch.

TESLA: CEO ELON MUSK RE-COMMITS TO TESLA
- ELON MUSK TO COMMIT FULLY TO TESLA: Elon Musk has announced that starting in early May, he will significantly reduce his time allocation at the Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E.). Musk mentioned that he will only spend one or two days per week at D.O.G.E., while his main focus will be on Tesla. This has reassured investors that the company will thrive and easily overcome upcoming challenges with Musk at its helm.
TESLA: TRADE NEWS
- BREAKING (MAY 12): US AND CHINA AGREED TO SLASH TARIFFS. Washington and Beijing reached a breakthrough deal in Geneva to cut mutual tariffs after months of escalation. The US will reduce tariffs on Chinese imports from 145% to 30%, while China will lower tariffs on American goods from 125% to 10%. The agreement takes effect immediately and will last for an initial 90-day period.
TESLA: RECENT PRICE ACTION
- TESLA’S STOCK PRICE HIT A NEW ALL-TIME HIGH IN LATE 2024: $487.99. The current stock price is around $345, and if the price moves to its recent all-time high levels, this would be a price change of around 41%. However, the price could decline as well.
- ANALYST OPINION: Morgan Stanley forecasts $410, Piper Sandler forecasts $400. Stifel forecasts $450. New Street Research forecasts $465.
