TESLA: THE COMPANY
- Tesla produces several Electric Vehicles (EVs), including the Model 3, Model X, Model Y, Model S, and, since recently, the Cybertruck. Tesla also delivers the Semi-Truck.
- STOCK INDEX PARTICIPATION: Tesla stock is part of both the NASDAQ 100 (USA100) index and the S&P 500 (USA500) index.
- MARKET SHARE: Tesla is still the largest seller of pure battery-powered Electric Vehicles (EVs) in the world and an absolute leader in the US (taking up around 50% market share).
TESLA: EVENTS
- EVENT: CEO ELON MUSK EXPECTED TO SETTLE DISPUTES WITH US PRESIDENT TRUMP. The richest person in the world (Elon Musk) and most powerful man in the USA (President Donald Trump) are expected to soon resolve their spat that heated up on June 5. Elon Musk in a post on X said that his comments against President Trump went too far, in a signal that the dust between the two could settle sooner than later.
- EVENT (JUNE 22): TESLA ROBOTAXI SERVICES IN AUSTIN, TEXAS ARE SET TO BEGIN JUNE 22, WITH FIRST FACTORY TO CUSTOMER HOUSE TRIP TO TAKE PLACE ON JUNE 28. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in a post on X on Tuesday that Tesla robotaxi rides in Austin, Texas, are ‘tentatively’ set to begin June 22. Musk said the first driverless Tesla will make a trip from the Austin factory to a customer’s house on June 28. A new era is set to begin for Tesla in early June of 2025. Tesla's autonomous Robotaxi project will start off with 10 cars in the first week of June, with a gradual scaling to 20, 30, 40, aiming to reach 1,000 within months.
- EVENT (EXPECTED: BY THE END OF JUNE 2025): TESLA SET TO LAUNCH ITS NEW AFFORDABLE CAR BY THE END OF THE FIRST HALF OF 2025. During the earnings call in late April 2025, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that 2025 will be the biggest year in Tesla’s history and promised to roll out more affordable models in the first half of 2025. The new model will use some of the structure/components of the current Model 3 and Model Y platforms and undercut both entry-levels in terms of pricing. The new car could be the previously rumored Model Q.
TESLA: CEO ELON MUSK RE-COMMITS TO TESLA
- ELON MUSK TO COMMIT FULLY TO TESLA AS HE OFFICIALLY LEFT TRUMP’S ADMINISTRATION IN MAY 2025: Elon Musk has announced on his media platform X that he will be back to spending 24/7 on his companies, even going so far as to sleep in the conference/server/factory rooms.
TESLA: PRIC ACTION AND ANALYS OPINION
- MORGAN STANLEY FORECASTS $410 PER SHARE
- TESLA’S STOCK PRICE HIT A NEW ALL-TIME HIGH IN LATE 2024: $487.99. The current stock price is around $330, and if the price moves to its recent all-time high levels, this would be a price change of around 48%. However, the price could decline as well.
TECHNICAL ANALYSIS:
- UPTREND CHANNEL SINCE EARLY MARCH 2025: As depicted by the daily chart below, the Tesla stock price has kept trading within the mid-term black- lined uptrend channel, confirming its mid-term trend is up. The channel has been in place since early March 2025.
- 14- RELATIVE STRENGTH INDEX (RSI) (DAILY CHART) SHOWS TESLA STOCK PRICE IS IN UPTREND: According to the Daily chart below, the Relative Strength Index (RS), covering 14 Day periods above the neutral point of 50, recently bouncing off its oversold territory represented by the level of 30.
- DAILY MOVING AVERAGES SIGNAL UPTREND: Tesla stock prices has moved above both the 50-day and 100-day moving averages, indicating a continued uptrend. However, this trend could reverse if prices drop below these key moving averages.
