In European trading, the euro retreated against the US Dollar, trading below the 1.1700 mark.
The EUR/USD fell in the European session following worse than expected retail sales data in the Eurozone. In the Eurozone Retail Sales for July was released with data being lower than expected (2.2% realised vs 2.4% expected). In the US, ADP Nonfarm Employment Change for August (73k exp) and Initial Jobless Claims (230k exp) will be released at 13:15 and 13:30 GMT +1 respectively. US Services PMI for August (55.4 exp) will be posted (14:45 GMT+1).
