During European trading, the British Pound rose against the US Dollar, trading above 1.3400 levels.
The GBP/USD advanced in the European session, following better than expected economic data coming out of the UK. In the UK Construction PMI for August came out with data being higher than expected (45.5 realised vs 45.2 expected). In the US, ADP Nonfarm Employment Change for August (73k exp) and Initial Jobless Claims (230k exp) will be released at 13:15 and 13:30 GMT +1 respectively. US Services PMI for August (55.4 exp) will be posted (14:45 GMT+1).
