US Session Analysis for CFD Instruments 27/04/2022
Fundamental analysis
27 April, 2022
During most of European trade, the British pound managed to consolidate against the dollar. The US dollar is strengthening because financial participants are betting on the hawkish Fed at the next meeting, on May 5. Also, poor macroeconomic data in the UK from Friday threatens the prospects for an increase in the interest rate of the Bank of England, which puts pressure on the pound. The PMI indicators for the state of the British economy for April were much lower than expected. At around 13:00, the pound was exchanged for 1.2551 dollars, which is a weakening of the British currency by 0.01% since the close of trading on Friday.
