The British Pound USD currency pair edged lower, trading at 1.3705. The Pound had been getting beat up on Thursday until the Greenback went South and the British Pound finished the day firmly higher. There was no economic data out of the UK on Thursday. 4th Quarter GDP in the United States came in at 4.0%, as expected. Initial Jobless Claims for the past week were 847,000, below the analysts’ forecast of 875,000.
