The British Pound USD currency pair edged lower to 1.3956 during the Asian session. The Pound slipped slightly lower on Wednesday. The UK’s economic calendar was empty. The United States posted Building Permits and Housing Starts for February. Both came in less than expected at 1.682 million and 1.421 million. Most currency pairs were quiet ahead of U.S. Fed Chairman Powell’s press conference that was scheduled for the European evening.
